Local Driver Spotlight: Roger Self

Recognition:
Roger is one of the hardest working shuttle drivers that has ever worked with CLO. He was instrumental in helping to get the GM Project off of the ground. He never backs down from a challenge and is always quick to help out. Roger does a good job staying in compliance, is receptive and positive to changes to work requirement changes and follows through with any request from Safety timely. In addition, he takes excellent care of equipment.

OTR Driver Spotlight: Dan Cruz

Recognition:
Dan has been driving for over 13 years and has been with CLO for a little over a year now. He is courteous to everyone he meets, a great communicator, and is a great advocate for our company in the way he carries himself in the field. Dan is someone who is also a very intelligent driver. He runs hard and knows how to manage his time to maximize his miles without jeopardizing safety. Since Christmas, he has averaged 3,497 miles per week! Another aspect we appreciate with Dan is that if he identifies anything wrong with our equipment, he is quick to let Maintenance and Safety know. This helps us to be as safe as possible out on the road and ensure we are providing high-quality equipment to our employees.

Carrier Logistics of Olathe is definitely the place a professional driver would want to work. My dispatcher Andrew and Mrs. Nikki, who does payroll, always make sure I have plenty of work and am paid on time every week. Mr. Curtis, who takes care of DOT and ELD issues, is quick with answers and quick with a joke. Amigo Jack, who handles maintenance of the fleet, is always fast to answer your call if you get in a pinch with any of the equipment. A real problem solver with all the right answers. This crew of people, along with others in the office, make Carrier Logistics a place I’m proud to work for and represent while I’m on the road.
